TOWN OF ALMA BOARD MEETING MINUTES
April 15, 2026
All Board members present:
Meeting called to order by Chairman Flick at 7:25 PM following completion of Annual Meeting.
Minutes from March 18, 2026 were read into the record. Motion by Tom Gearing, second by Matt Murray to approve the minutes as read. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s report: Current balance $249,688.90 less $28600 reserved for equipment, 5,450 building reserve for a cash on hand balance of $215,638.90. Motion by Murray, second by Gearing to approve report. Motion carried.
Motion by Gearing, second by Murray to authorize payments for the month. Motion carried.
- Motion by Murray second by Gearing to approve Lepke bid of $241,049.31 on Jeffrey Road project. Motion carried. Motion by Gearing, second by Murray to approve Mathy bid of $269,757.13. Motion carried.
- Sand Rd bridge estimate of $32,500 with 90% State funding. Remaining 10% split between the Town and Jackson County.
- Storage shed door- Gaier waiting for parts to finish fixing.
- Motion by Murray second by Gearing to approve Special Event Venue beer and liquor license for Burlap & Bells LLC. Motion carried.
- Driveway permits-Brian shared driveway permits approved for Hunter Olson on Hart Rd and Thomas Slaughter on Allen Creek Rd.
Next meeting scheduled for May 20, 2026.
Motion by Gearing, second by Murray to adjourn. Adjourned at 7:39 PM.
